Teatro la Quindicina is a professional theatre company producing out of The Varscona Theatre in the heart of delightful Old Strathcona right here in Edmonton Alberta Canada.

Teatro is a writer driven troupe presenting four new comedies from May through October of every year. Our playwright in residence and former Artistic Director Stewart Lemoine writes much of our work and also mentors our new writers. Next Up!

Season 2009 is now complete having toppled all our box office records at the Varscona. Our final show, the musical comedy Everybody Goes to Mitzi’s was a bonafide hit, selling out many of its performances. Teatro’s smash hit Christmas delight, the live radio version of It’s a Wonderful Life, played December 18th and 19th and was once again a holiday delight. Season’s Tickets for our 2010 summer o’ fun are now on sale, with detailed planning well underway.
