The Christmas classic is back, live on the Varscona stage!

We’re very pleased to announce that from December 18th and 19th, for three performances only, we’ll be remounting our hugely successful presentation of our live radio version of classic Frank Capra/Jimmy Stewart motion picture It’s a Wonderful Life. Watch the classic holiday tale of despair and redemption performed as a 1940’s radio broadcast by a cast in full period costume with live music and sound effects. Jeff Haslam and Davina Stewart return as George and Mary Bailey, with Leona Brausen, Kendra Connor, Cathy Derkach, Andrew MacDonald-Smith, and Mark Meer. It’s a perfect holiday treat with complimentary eggnog and mulled wine. Performances are Friday, December 18th  at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, December 19th  at 2pm and 7:30pm  All seats for this special event are $25, or $20 for seniors/students.
